Why Blog? Hear What the Experts Say

Christina Kerley (CK of CK’s Blog) has created a great .pdf “collage,” that features comments from a whole bunch of marketing bloggers (including yours truly) who have shared their responses to the question: What is the single greatest point of value you receive from blogging?

It all started with this poll, where CK first posed the question.

If you’re on the fence about blogging, and you want to understand the real value of using blogging as part of your marketing, then read each comment. Every speech bubble and corresponding comment links you to that person’s blog, so have a read of a few while you’re at it.

    Perfect timing.

    Thank you for this piece, it came just on time because a recent article I read has rekindled my interest in blogging and going for really high traffic. The other aritcle that I read just today was titled; Get Instant Massive Blog Site Traffic: 7 Ways To Comment Without Spamming. It’s written by some guy I’ve never heard of but nevertheless it really inspired me.

    I now think that the full value of blogs is yet to be appreciated.

    The masses- and the average business owner or CEO, have yet to realize the full value of blogs perhaps, especially as they pertain to business, but I think CK’s exercise indicates that those of us who are doing it see the value in many forms.

    It was neat to read so many different blogger’s viewpoints, and none of them said it was for the traffic, or the money for that matter.
