Big Changes in the TTF Universe
I’m quickly approaching my two-year anniversary as a marketing blogger, and the “look back in time” is coming soon, but first some exciting news.
I have moved out of my lonely home office, and into the much more exciting and chic brick walls of Gastown, to accept a position as Director of Community Relations for an exciting new internet startup here in town called Strutta.
It’s a bit early to share too many details about what it is we’re building, but not too early for me to tell all of you what my role is on the project, and some of the ideas that I’ve been brewing. If you want to be among the first to hear about what I’m calling “the best kept secret on the web,” click on over to Strutta.com and sign up. As you might have already have guessed, I will be responsible for the company blog, as well as our participation in a number of other online communities. If it sounds like too much fun to be true- believe me when I tell you, that same thought occurs to me every day.
I’ll continue to post here, and my guess is that I’ll address the topic of “how to build an online community” fairly often, using my own adventures (and blunders, of course!) as examples.
So, how does one start a conversation about something they’re not even allowed to talk about yet? Here’s what we’ve come up with. A guessing game of sorts, where you tell us what you think Strutta might be about:
Just for fun, send me your submissions. I’d love to post them, and get the rumor mill cranked up into high gear.
If you have any other ideas as to how to get a little traction without giving too much away, I’m all ears.
Cheers!

Hey congrats Jord! I’ve always said that successful bloggers are perfect fits for startups that need to create and build their community! Strutta made the perfect pick!
