[...] A few months back I referenced Mr. Barefoot’s pitching abilities when he emailed me about a video campaign he had put together. Later I saw that he was using video to pitch bloggers individually (yes, a separate personalized video for each of his chosen publishers) about a photo contest for one of his clients. Simply put, he understands that it takes time and care to connect with bloggers and enlist their help when campaigning. And at the moment, he’s doing it all from a quaint villa in Malta on a working vacation. [...]

[...] Also noteworthy on this topic is Jordan (a Vancouver-based marketing consultant) Behan’s comments about both the funny ecomerce videos and Capulet’s blogger outreach approach, as he described thusly: Full disclosure: I am an acquaintance of a few of the Elastic Pathers, and the firm that produced the spots as well. That being the case, it should be noted that the email I received containing the link was a terrific example of blogger relations. [...]

Acquainted indeed! Glad you are enjoying Capulet's work - I was actually (pleasantly) stunned at the comedic timing of Mark my roadtrip cohort, "That's big turnip!" Makes me laugh over and over again - He is no where near as funny in real life (well he is but in a different way - more like laughing *at* him than laughing *with* him ;-). And no, don't expect a foray into acting from me - i am strict documentarian.
