No, thank YOU, Jordan. I appreciate the compleiments. Hey, big news to share with you. I'm starting a book slated for a late 2007 release called "The New Rules of Marketing & PR" - it is an updated and expanded version of the e-book. Would love to speak with you offline about it. Shoot me an email if you are interested.

All the best,

David

Yeah, sometimes we have remember what we do it all for, and that's making sales.

It's great to hear another great example of how sharing information has led to an increase in business. Folks, read her post here:

Words of wisdom, indeed. We're marketers after all, moving people to action is what we do. In fact, the sheet-metal bloggers (yep! sheet metal) that I feature this week in my interview series have made their blog so interesting, so engaging, so...human they've doubled their sales in 3 years of blogging -- with 90% of new leads coming from their blog and sites.

How? According to their lead blogger, "by just being authentic and honest" (why didn't business school teach that best practice?).

It just goes to show that any subject matter can move people to action, when implemented thoughtfully. Thanks for the great post. I'll go download David's "New Rules of PR" for sure.
